How this catalog is kept

What we re-check, how often, and what to do when a figure here argues with the one at the till.

The prices

The catalog was last updated on August 27, 2026. Every price on this site comes from our own product data and is refreshed on a schedule, not typed by hand. Prices move between updates, and the figure at the checkout is the one that counts: where the two disagree, the till wins.

A piece with no live offer is not shown at all. It leaves the shelf at the next update and comes back on its own when it is available again, so the count on a shelf page moves from one month to the next.

The figures on the cards

Cord drops, pot diameters, shelf spans, hook counts and pack sizes are read out of our product data, never estimated. Where a figure is missing from a card, it is missing because we do not hold it, not because it was thought too dull to print.

The photographs

Every frame is looked at beside the piece it claims to show before it goes up. A frame with a promotional slogan printed into the pixels does not run, and neither does a frame of a different colorway from the one on the card.

The sources

Where a page here makes a claim that needs an outside authority, whether that is anchoring a shelf, cords near a cot, the coin cell in a string of lights or what a plant does to the air, the authority is named below with the date we read it.

Anchor ItUS Consumer Product Safety Commission. Anchoring furniture with drawers, doors and shelves to the wall prevents tip-over injuries and deaths. The job needs an anchoring kit, a drill, a screwdriver and a stud finder, and a federal rule on furniture stability took effect on September 1, 2023.
Window Covering CordsUS Consumer Product Safety Commission. A hanging cord can strangle a child in moments and almost silently. Cots, beds, furniture and toys belong on a wall away from cords, dangling cords should be kept short, and only a cordless covering removes the hazard outright.
Button Cell and Coin BatteryUS Consumer Product Safety Commission. A swallowed coin cell can burn through a child's esophagus within two hours. Under Reese's Law the battery compartment of a consumer product must need a tool or two simultaneous movements to open, and packaging must carry an ingestion warning.
Indoor Air Pollution: An Introduction for Health ProfessionalsUS Environmental Protection Agency. The ability of plants to control indoor air pollution is less well established than the marketing suggests: chamber studies do not extrapolate to real rooms, the one whole-building study found no benefit, and plant removal is inconsequential beside ordinary ventilation.
Rooting Cuttings in WaterMissouri Botanical Garden. Cuttings run 4 to 6 inches, cut just below a node, with the lower leaves and any flowers removed. Begonias, coleus, ivies and philodendrons root readily in water, while woody stems such as hibiscus and citrus usually rot before they root.
Propagating HouseplantsPenn State Extension. Cuttings want bright indirect light, a medium moist rather than saturated, and a rooting temperature of 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Start from a plant free of disease and stress, and use sharp, clean tools.
